The Quality Manager manages the day-to-day activities of the Quality department.
Analyzes and reviews performance metrics to monitor the effectiveness of product, process, and quality management systems' continuous improvements.
Works with appropriate resources and cross-functional teams to determine root cause and develop corrective actions effectiveness for timely close loop actions.
Responsibilities of the Quality Manager:
The Quality Manager is responsible for the development and administration of Saline Lectronics' Quality System.
Work closely with Management and team members to aid in the development of internal processes required to sustain and acquire new certifications.
Analyze and perform root cause corrective action for quality issues and drive close-loop actions.
Provide direction and mentoring to the Quality team.
Prepare succession planning and development needs for direct reports.
The Quality Manager has the authority to stop production and shipment of non-conforming products.
Prepare Risk/Opportunity assessments and build quality into processes.
Requirements of the Quality Manager:
The Quality Manager must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree and 4
years of experience in a Quality, Operations, and Continuous Improvement or Engineering lead role.
Candidate will have a thorough knowledge of PCB and PCBA manufacturing processes and Quality Systems.
Certified Quality Auditor or experience and extensive knowledge with hands-on in using Quality tools like PFMEA, DFM, Control Plans, 8D/CAPA, MSA, PPAP/FAIR, etc.
Possesses an understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and AS9100 standards as well as audit experience for products, processes, and systems.
Candidate will have excellent communication, and the ability to build a high-performing team, while demonstrating leadership qualities, and strong organizational skills.
