Evangelical Homes of Michigan (EHM) is a multi-faceted health and human service organization that provides health care and home based services as well as housing to older adults and their families throughout southeast Michigan. Founded in 1879, EHM is one of the largest nonprofits of its kind and one of the oldest in the state, serving more than 3,200 older adults annually.
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking to welcome a new, full-time Maintenance Technician to join in the continued mission and growth of our Brecon Village Campus, an Independent and Assisted Living campus of Evangelical Homes of Michigan.
Job Duties include, but are not limited to:
Preventative maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment including HVAC, general carpentry, plumbing and electrical repairs.
Coordinate maintenance services and activities with other related departments.
Make written and oral reports/recommendations to the Director as necessary or required concerning the operation of the Maintenance Department
Support maintenance calls received through radio system, and provide additional support to facility staff, facility Executive Director and Maintenance Director as needed.
Qualifications and Skill Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED.
A current, valid Driver's License in the State of Michigan.
Prior 2
years' experience in maintenance and/or construction required.
Prior skilled trade experienceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
