This position is located in Saline, MI.
This position is responsible for vehicle related cybersecurity. This Engineer has responsibility to assist in developing Cybersecurity designs and direction for Toyota.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Design of new cybersecurity direction for Toyota
Work with various related internal Toyota groups to promote cybersecurity design within the organization
Creation of Cybersecurity Specifications to be adopted across ECU design within Toyota
Integration and working with Team Members already working on Cybersecurity TPM module design
Promotion of cybersecurity importance within ES divisions
Performing other duties as assigned
Supporting on site meetings and conferences within US and Japan
Interface with system component engineers such as cockpit electronics
Liaison between various Toyota Design Center's Engineering Staff
Discussion with cloud based service providers managed by other Toyota Engineering teams
Potential Team leader role managing workload of up to 1 team member
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline
Experience within embedded device security field
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
Masters of Science in an Engineering discipline
Mechanical or Electrical design knowledge
Experience in automotive field and Embedded devices.
Extensive knowledge and respect within Cybersecurity field
Overtime 10%

Toyota Technical Center (TTC) is a division of Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing, North America Inc., established in 1977. TTC's Michigan R&D facilities are located in Ann Arbor, Saline, Plymouth and Livonia. In addition, TTC has testing facilities in Torrance and Gardena, California and a 10-mile oval test track in Wittmann, Arizona.
TTC is engaged in engineering design, prototype building, vehicle evaluation and engineering, materials engineering, powertrain tuning and design, safety/crashworthiness, regulatory affairs and advanced research.
