CAD Data Management Support

Responsibilities
SKILLS/ DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Train engineers how to adhere to TTC data management guidelines.
Support implementation of process through rule violation & broken link follow up.
Download reference data and carry-over part data from corporate PDM tool & store in TTC local tool for engineer reference.
Use proprietary CAD data sending tool to support CAD sharing between TTC, suppliers, & affiliated companies. Request supplier additions to CAD sending tool address book. Train users how to send data using the tool.
Apply and maintain user access rights
Provide CATIA data management support for all Design Groups during vehicle development.
Assist engineers with data release process, internal transfer of data, & development of folder structures.
Support data management process documentation preparation.
Train engineers to use corporate PDM tools through formal classes, workshops, and otherwise as needed.
Global PDM system administration and maintenance.
Report status on a daily and monthly basis
Perform duties as assigned.
Qualifications
LIST REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with CAD and/or PDM systems.
2 year associates degree preferred or equivalent work experience
Basic understanding of vehicle structure
Strong sense of customer service
Able to work flexible hours when required by workload
Strong problem solving skills
Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Windows and Internet Explorer
Excellent organizational skills
Able to quickly learn proprietary systems and processes
Keyboarding experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Detail oriented
Able to meet deadlines
High degree of interpersonal skills with and willingness to work in a culturally diverse team environment

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
